The processes at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at the Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire (CERN) are fascinating and essential to our understanding of the world with science. The elementary and sheer mindblowing processes at the LHC‘s detectors are invisible to the human eye. Computer generated visualisations and animations from the data of the LHC's sensors (Atlas, Alice, LHCb und CMS) help imagining what is happening inside the detector.
Our aim in this project is not to communicate complex procedures, but to build an object that acts as an agency between visitors and science.
This is a concept proposal for a kinetic installation. We want to build an abstract model of the operations at the LHC. The object we are proposing will interpret the particle collisions with water.
